Piney Point. It then turns south on N. Piney Point and concludes at \;Ecclesia on the West Side (Previously known as \;Memorial Drive Baptist Church) around 9:45 am. Traditional parade participants include decorated cars and floats fro m \; the cities. \; \; \;Residents are encouraged to dress up for the holiday\, decorate their bikes \;and join the parade!\n&nb sp\;\nFollowing the parade\, the Villages Independence Day Festival will c ontinue at \;Ecclesia on the West Side (Previously known as Memorial D rive Baptist Church) \;at 325 N. Piney Point Rd. At 10:00 a.m.\, the o pening ceremony will take place with all of the Mayors and Dignitaries. En joy kid-friendly activities\, \; food and drinks and musical entertain ment throughout the morning! \;\nThe Festival concludes at 1:00 p.m. w ith the tradional spray from the big ladder truck from the Villages Fire D epartment. It sprays water from the top of its fully extended ladder over the kids\, who gather in the middle of the grounds.\n \;\nParking may be a little tight this year as Piney Point Road is under construction.\nPl ease consider parking at the following locations and taking the shuttle to the event \; (click here for a map for parking and other info):\n\n1. Memorial Drive Presbyterian Church (11612 Memorial Drive) in their east p arking lot off of Blalock\, and\n2.
